Our compostable bags are 100% biodegradable and compostable to EN13432 standard and they meet the “OK compost HOME” certification. They’re 100% plastic free and suitable for domestic home compost systems.
The film is manufactured using biopolymers and no plastic polymers in sight so no microplastics will enter the environment upon the natural degrading process.
The bags come in packs of 100, 25micron in thickness and are a white translucent colour and are suitable for heat seating by using a standard heat sealer. An alternative way to secure the bags would be using water soluble and 100% biodegradable cable ties which be purchased here.
