Our compostable range of plastics are made from various grades of the FKuR brands BioFlex® and Ceroflex®.
BioFlex® is a compostable, starch based material made from a blend of PBAT & PLA bioploymers, it can be extruded, injection moulded, 3D printed, thermoformed and processed through lamination, and certified compostable to EN13432 standards. Ceroflex® is also a compostable material, made from European non-GMO cornstarch, it works best extruded, however it works well in injection moulding processing for more flexible applications. Both biopolymers boast in their high strength and durability with a premium finish, Ceroflex® has more flexible properties compared to BioFlex®, with BioFlex® holding more rigid and sturdy benefits, both materials holding food contract approved accrediation.
