Some examples of water soluble plastic products developed and supplied by Solutions 4 Plastic.
Soluble Laundry Bags
Completely soluble and biodegradable. Contaminated linen is placed in the bag which can then be sealed with the attached cold water soluble tie tape. The filled bag is then transferred to the laundry and put unopened into the washer. Dissolve completely in the wash, leaving no potentially infected plastic waste. The contents of the bags need not be handled until the wash and dry cycle is complete.
Soluties™ are water-soluble Cable Ties.
A new patented product which breaks open in cold water in approximately 10 minutes and eventually totally dissolves. They are made from a certified fully biodegradable and non-toxic material and can be used, for example, in tying PVA bags, especially in angling applications. Many more applications are possible where a disposable tie is required
Water-Soluble Plastic Bags
Made to specified dimensional and dissolution requirements for a number of applications including the measured dosing of dyes, pigments and additives.
Soluble Tube
With the possibility to manufacture in various sizes (depending on volume). This quick dissolving tube can be used in angling applications such as shown at http://godman-angling.com or medical use.
Dog Waste Bags
With these flushable bags simply collect the dog waste as with any other bag but then flush away. When out and about you can dispose of the bags in dog waste collection bins and they will biodegrade. Or take them home and flush them.
Rigid Packaging
Where soluble films and sachets cannot be easily used we can offer rigid PVOH packaging solutions. Examples of such products include bottles, tubes, tubs and jars. The end user is then able to dispose of these easily, for example by placing in a dishwasher or with the daily wash. This eliminates the need to recycle or send to landfill.
